Journal 9-19-2010
Today is Sunday, which is the only day of the week we get off. We had a pretty laid back day. I accomplished two pretty minor tasks. Before lunch I went to Escape avenue mall with John. While we were there we shopped around in a store that had awesome shirts. Then we went to a bookstore on the third floor. At the bookstore we bought some poster board for the conference, and I got the third Steig Larson book. We came back around lunchtime.
After lunch the Katie wanted to go to Spencer’s plaza to buy a mini laptop. After several hours and going to a lot of different stores, Katie bought a Lenovo from a pretty legit store. It seems like a great computer and was by far the best deal. I think it was about 18,300 rupees. After all the taxes and the 2% fee for using a credit card.
Tomorrow we are supposed to have some kind of test, nobody has mentioned anything about it, but it is on our schedule.
It was really nice to have a day off.
