Journal 9-12-2010
I am writing this a day late because Sunday was my day off. It was a pretty low key and relaxing day. Here is what we did.
Early in the morning Matt, Katie and Leah got up and went to church. John and I slept in. I woke up much later around 10:00 and read City of Joy for a couple hours until the other got back around 12:00. We decided that we needed to go to a mall so that we could try to get some internet service. Matt really needed to email someone at Olaf about his project. I really wanted to go to the mall because I was craving non-Indian food. We finally ended up at the Escape avenue mall and got KFC and mooched a wireless connection from the very nice, and brand new Escape movie theatre. We were eventually asked to leave because we didn’t have a ticket to actually go to a movie. While we were at the mall we picked up the movie, “I love you man” we asked them not to make us dinner and instead we ate snacks and watched the movie, then went to bed.
I am getting very tired of the food served at ICSA. It seems like we eat the same thing for every meal. I would LOVE any type of European, American or western food! I crave meat! Mostly beef, which is impossible to get here… cows are sacred.
