Journal 12-1-2010
Today I got to do my first set of PCR reactions. It got bands but they were faint. Tomorrow I am going to do some troubleshooting… I am going to try a sigma DNA purification kit and also try adding 10 ul of the original DNA extraction instead of 5ul. I bet that adding more of the original DNA will help brighten up the bands. I am skeptical of the purification kits because in the past I haven’t had much luck with them.
I am excited to go visit John and Matt.
