Journal 11-29-2010
Today I went back to work. I did more DNA extractions from whole Aedes albopictus mosquitoes. I have to wait until Dr. Paradeep Kumar gets back from Pondicherry before I can start doing the PCR reactions. I now have around 60-70 samples that were collected in four different districts of Kerala. Dr. Paradeep Kumar doesn’t get back until tomorrow evening so I probably won’t be able to get going on the PCR before Wed. After work I walked down to a shop/bakery and bought more bread, buns and peanut butter. I know this is sad… but I can’t wait to have bag lunches from the caf again! It is impossible to get a decent serving of meat here.
